Meet Pastor Dwayne Brown
Pastor Dwayne Brown is a bold leader, visionary, and entrepreneur who serves as the Senior Pastor of Romans 116 Church in Lynnwood, Washington.

Born and raised in Jamaica, Pastor Dwayne came to the United States in 2002 with only $20 in his pocket and a heart full of faith. Determined to build a better life, he began working as a carpenter and eventually started his own company, Yah Mon Construction, in 2015. His journey from humble beginnings to business ownership is a testimony of God’s grace and relentless perseverance.

He is also known by his gospel artist name, Jamaica D, with songs like Destined for Greatness and Read the Bible Everyday that reflect his life, message, and calling.

As a husband, father of nine, and proud grandfather, Pastor Dwayne is passionate about strong families and believes men should lead with integrity, love, and strength. His life and ministry are built on empowering others to rise, dream bigger, and walk boldly in their purpose.

In 2020, during the height of the global pandemic, Pastor Dwayne stepped out in faith and began preaching online through Facebook Live. This was the birth of Blood Stain Church — a bold, Spirit-led ministry founded on truth, transformation, and hope. The first in-person service was held on January 2, 2021. Over time, the ministry grew and evolved into what is now Romans 116 Church — a movement rooted in Faith. Family. Freedom.

Pastor Dwayne is also a published author of the inspirational book Standing on the Wall, where he shares his personal testimony of perseverance, purpose, and spiritual resilience. His story encourages others to stay faithful to their calling, even when the odds seem stacked against them.

He currently serves alongside his wife, Lady TaShara Brown, and together they are raising their children to love and serve Christ. Pastor Dwayne’s life is living proof that when you trust God and stand on the wall, He will lead you into greatness.
